Learn Bass Guitar

have been asked so many times how to play well and get those bass guitar notes fluently dripping from my fingers that I have decided to put a hub together as to how it happened.

So welcome to my first hub page to get you started - Learn Bass Guitar!

I would say the main thing is to get your technique right from the start, that is where I went wrong, I bought a bass and started playing along with some favourite music, badly. I picked up some bad habits because of that!

The main thing is get instruction, a teacher, or a good course such as the course from Music Master Pro which taught me a lot! This is absolutely essential! Do it from the start, or you will spend a lot more time undoing them, believe me it's not easy, it took me ages to stop playing buzzy notes just because I learned to hold the neck wrong to begin with even though I was taught well afterwards!

The next thing is the one you know already, practise. But practise without slipping back into those habits that is the success when it comes starting to learn bass gutar!

Some hard work at the beginning will make things easy later on!

You may think that learning a song when you are starting out is all about sitting down and listening to the song carefully and trying to replicate it. If you are experienced then this will be the case but if you are starting out then you may get the bass guitar notes in the right order but beyond that it aint gonna sound like the real thing!

Don't run before you can walk practice a lot, copy songs and most importantly of all, get tuition!
